Personal:

Pride necessarily sprouts and grows; a pride that can only come from relentless kneading of unwilling flesh, painful months of grinding and burning away all that is heavy, all that is strength-sapping and useless to the body as a projectile. --John L. Parker, Jr., runner/author

That's pretty awesome you did this with your brother, Wesley. Sadly, your race reports get buried given the pace for the distance. Rest well.

Nicely done!

Jeff- Really appreciate you checking in, man. In late May, I moved my family from Little Rock to Denver, for both personal and professional reasons. Life has been a whirlwind, and I’m battling what feels like a metatarsal, but I hope to resume posting soon. Thanks again...and hope all is well with you and your family.

Hope the move went well. I have a couple of buddies who used to live in Arvada! Welcome to the west! Hope you and the family get into the swing of things and that the job goes well.

Justin will be running with his college team in your area on 9/29 in Boulder at the Rocky Mountain Shootout XC race.
